AquaSamoa is a family business, owned and operated by expat Aussies Kat and Steve who came to Samoa in 2002, took a look under the water, and never left. The business started from a sea container and graduated to a PADI Gold Palm five star resort facility in less than three years. AquaSamoa ventured out into previously un-dived territory and located the many fantastic sites you can visit with us tomorrow, next week or next year. If adventure is your bag we still have plenty of exploring to do; so if you want to blow your bags about having been to where no diver has gone before; and if you have a passion for adventure and you have an advanced certification - then let’s go exploring. If we find a new site which comes up to our standards you get the site named after you or you can choose the name for it. If you’re not yet an advanced diver – relax we can fix that to – in fact we can fix almost anything to suit your preferences if you want to get wet.
The corner stone of AquaSamoa’s success is about recognizing individual customer needs and understanding that our competence builds your confidence. We cater for all levels of existing training and place great importance on taking you to places were you will feel confident and therefore relaxed in the water. For those with the spirit of adventure we can provide you with additional training or refresher training before we visit the

AquaSamoa also employs PADI Instructor Jayde Leota. Jayde is the first Samoan female Instructor to be working in Samoa and between Jayde and Steve AquaSamoa can teach specialty dive skills such as NITROX (Enriched Air) Diving, Nite Diving, Multilevel Diving, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving and Drift Diving just to name a few.

Our local staff are all from surrounding
villages and bring a great level of local knowledge to your
experience. All have the warm friendly manner typical of their
Polynesian way of life.
Our Operations Manager is local Fa’afiti
Fau (Fiti) a Dive Master – the only fully trained and
working Samoan Dive Master in the country. Fiti ensures all
our operations run smoothly, equipment is maintained and regularly
serviced; he Captains our boats and leads many experienced
divers to their first experience diving in Samoa.
We currently have a Dive Master Intern, Craig from Bunbury
in Western Australia, also a keen Kite Surfer and Fisherman.
Together our divers have over 35 years diving experience in places including Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. With first class open water training skills and excellent leadership abilities they easily make new divers feel at home in the water, and give old hands a great diving experience.
The remainder or our staff and crew are a dedicated team of
First Aid trained water sports enthusiasts working together
to make your experiences memorable and fun while ensuring
your safety.
As the face of our business they take your bookings, captain
our boats, assist with beach activities, fit your equipment,
take you snorkeling, teach you to sail, wake-board, kite board
and water-ski, and supervise the beach area.

Behind the scenes they clean and fuel the boats, fill your
tanks, take care of maintenance and repairs, load the boats
and prepare your equipment, keep equipment clean and neatly
stored and ensure things run smoothly while you are enjoying
the sports of your choice.
