LOCATION
AquaSamoa is located in the grounds of Aggie Grey's Lagoon and Beach Resort and Spa, which has the very best accommodation in Samoa. The resort is situated at the edge of a stunning blue lagoon, close to the Mulifanua Wharf on one side, where you can catch the ferry to the larger island of Savai’i, and about 10 minutes away from the Faleolo International Airport on the other side.

With perfect ocean temperatures year round of between 26°C and 31°C, AquaSamoa is situated close to the islands of Manono and Apolima which offer some of the best dive sites in Samoa .

TRANSPORT
With it's proximity to New Zealand and Australia, good connecting flights are offered by Air New Zealand, Air Pacific and Polynesian Blue. It takes about 5 hours flying from Sydney, Australia, or Auckland, New Zealand, and slightly longer on connecting flights to Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville or the Gold Coast. There are direct flights from LA which take about 9 hours, and it will take about 21 flying hours from Europe or the UK.

AquaSamoa WaterSports is located about a 10minute drive from the Faleolo International Airport, and about a 40 minute drive from the capital Apia. Depending on where you are staying if you require transport we can pick you up for about half the price of a taxi fare.

BUS SERVICES :
Buses provide an inexpensive form of transport for locals, and a colorful experience to remember for visitors. All buses are named with their final destination, so ask the driver which bus you need to catch. In Apia, the bus terminals are located next to the food market in Fugalei and beside the fish market (behind the craft market). Bus schedules and details of fares are available from the Samoa Visitors Bureau , but Samoan buses rarely run to a strict timetable, particularly later in the day.

CAR RENTAL:
Foreign drivers' licenses must be validated prior to driving in Samoa. Validation costs ST$10, and are performed by the Transport Control Board in Vaitele, near the Vailima brewery (not a bad drop). Some car rental companies may also offer assistance in getting your license endorsed.

TAXIS:
Taxis in Samoa are unmetered, and their fares are set by the government. Taxis charge a minimum of WST$2.50 (e.g. for a short trip within the town area). A copy of the taxi fare rates can be obtained from the Transport Control Board, and rates to popular destinations are displayed in the Samoa Visitors Bureau . Always ask for the taxi fare to a certain place before you commence your trip.
